This is where ours began.

colombo
in 2017,
I started out in a small, empty office. Sketching ideas, thinking things through—days turned into nights, and nights into mornings. As someone who truly loves black tea, I believed Earl Grey is the face of any tea brand. And I wanted mine to be made with soft, fragrant Ceylon tea. So I headed to Sri Lanka. Flights to Sri Lanka stop in Colombo on the way to the Maldives. The plane was full of honeymooners.
After arriving in Colombo,
I met with more than 20 tea companies in a row, visited plantations, and tasted teas at every stop. Jet lag made it exhausting, but the whole experience was exciting. That’s how I chose the Earl Grey we have today. That’s how it all began—one at a time.

We enjoy the freedom this brings, creating without limits.

We often speak of our beginnings — when there was nothing, and someone still chose us.
Even now, a gift from a student to a friend means just as much.
To us, that quiet sincerity is what being a neighbor truly means.
